Webcare Group is the company behind Treated.com, an online pharmacy with an international presence and huge ambition to expand. We provide users with a safe and efficient means of consulting with a doctor online, and having prescription treatment delivered to their home.
We are now set to embark on an exciting global rebranding and growth strategy. To assist us in this, we are seeking skilled Content Writers and Translators to support our dynamic Manchester team in creating copy for the new websites, and that in various European languages. You can find a list of those at the end of this document.
Your responsibilities as Freelance Translator with Treated will include:
# Translating various forms of medical website copy and content from English into your native language, this can be:
# Applying keyword research
# Proofreading translations in your native language
# Managing your own deadlines and effective communication with the Content Team
This is what we are looking for in our Freelance Translator:
We don’t expect you to bring medical knowledge to the job but we do expect you to have a curiosity for the topic, a willingness to adapt to medical guides, as well as to follow the brief and brand guidelines provided.
Working with Treated as a Freelance Translator:
This is a project based role that is set out on a full-time basis over a 3 months period, starting on the 01st September 2021. You will be working alongside a number of translators, not just for all the languages listed above, but also for your own language.
In addition to that, you will have the support of our team of Content Managers who are based in Manchester. If you are able to work locally, you are most welcome to occupy a hot desk in our City office. In general, this is a remote role though that can be worked on from anywhere in the world. The success of the role is measured in the quality of the work provided as well as the timely delivery of the project.
Depending on the success of the role, we will happily discuss the opportunity to stay on the team on a long term basis.
